Cupping Therapy Add-On Service
Cupping therapy is a technique widely used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. During treatment, the practitioner uses specialized cups to create suction on the skin, helping to draw blood flow to the targeted area. This may help reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, promote cellular repair, and effectively alleviate pain.
Cupping is primarily used on the upper body and lower back but may also be performed on the lower extremities when appropriate.
Cupping may cause mild petechiae (red spotting) or darker, circular marks, particularly in areas with more chronic tension or stagnation. These marks are a normal response to the suction and may vary in color and intensity depending on the individual and the area being treated. They typically fade over time.
